Looking for infant massage in Rhode Island? Join us for a nurturing five-week series designed to help you connect with your baby through the gentle, intentional practice of infant massage.
Led by Jen Sullivan, LMT and Sarah Wilberg, this parent-led class will teach you infant massage techniques that you can continue using with your baby at home. Rather than having someone else massage your baby, you will be the one providing the massage, while we demonstrate and guide you through the techniques each week.
Throughout the series, you’ll also learn how to slow down, recognize your baby’s individual cues, and follow their lead—helping make massage a positive and enjoyable experience for both of you.
Over the five weeks, we’ll gradually build your infant massage routine as new techniques are introduced each week. The series is designed to support:
You’ll have plenty of opportunity to practice, ask questions, and become comfortable with the techniques so you can incorporate infant massage into your routine at home.
Babies don’t always follow a schedule—and that is completely welcome here.
If your baby needs to eat, be changed, sleep, cry, move around, or simply isn’t interested in being massaged that day, that’s okay. You’ll never be expected to massage your baby when they are telling you they’ve had enough.
Part of learning infant massage is learning to recognize and respect your baby’s cues. You can watch the demonstration, practice later at home, and rejoin whenever you and your baby are ready.
This series is designed for parents and caregivers with babies from birth through 12 months of age.
Because the techniques are taught directly to the parent or caregiver, each baby should attend with the adult who will be learning and practicing the massage techniques with them.

This complimentary series is being offered as part of our Infant Massage USA instructor certification, and the five classes are designed to build upon one another from week to week.
When registering, please plan to attend the full five-week series, as consistent attendance is an important part of the program and allows you to learn the complete infant massage routine.
As part of our certification requirements, participants will also be asked to complete a brief evaluation following the final class.
Because space is limited, registering reserves a spot for you and your baby for all five classes, rather than for an individual Saturday. We ask that you register only if you are able to make the five-week commitment.

Bring your baby and anything you normally need to keep them comfortable during an outing, including feeding, diapering supplies, and your baby’s blanket you can lay over the pillows at class.
Additional information about what to expect and how to prepare will be sent to registered families before the first class.
